About Me
- More than you want to know about me
I wasn't born here, but
almost my whole life since 2nd grade I've been an Alaskan. I graduated from
the Juneau-Douglas high school, then from the University of Alaska in
Fairbanks, then studied the
aurora
(northern lights) at the the University's Geophysical Institute. When I
finally had enough school I went to work for the Alaska state government with the last ten
years as
IT manager for the state dept of labor. I enjoy summer salmon fishing in
Juneau and winter vacations in Mexico. An ambition is to win the
Golden North Salmon Derby
which will probably require
divine intervention as
I've fished it dozens of times and rarely catch a legal king during the derby.
- Other stuff of mine ...
- KICKS - an enhancement for CMS & TSO
on IBM mainframes (or emulators) that lets you run your CICS applications
directly instead of having to 'install' those apps in CICS. You don't even
need CICS itself installed on your mainframe.
- CompareEM -
an MS-Access tool to compare two Access databases and generate VBA to
migrate one to the other.
- PowerTroll -
Outboard trolling motor auto-pilot, build your own from my instructions on
this web site...
